SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe the terms and conditions for the Payd Payments text-messaging program operated by Payd Processing LLC. By opting in to receive SMS messages from Payd Payments, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms & Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.

Program Description

The Payd Payments SMS program sends recurring informational and customer-service messages related to your merchant application and account, including:

• Application status updates and underwriting requests.
• Account notifications, document requests, and onboarding reminders.
• Customer-service replies in response to your inquiries.
• Occasional service updates that materially affect your account.

How to Opt In

You opt in by submitting our application form with the SMS consent checkbox checked, or by otherwise providing express written consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of obtaining any service from Payd Payments.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your application activity and account events. You should not expect a fixed number of messages per period.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless plan. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Payd Payments does not charge a fee for the messages themselves.

Supported Carriers

Supported in the United States on major carriers, including (but not limited to) AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS program at any time by texting STOP in reply to any message. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and we will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

Privacy

Your phone number and SMS consent record are handled according to our Privacy Policy. Phone numbers and consent data collected for the SMS program will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share these numbers only with messaging service providers (carriers and aggregators) strictly to deliver the messages you have opted in to receive.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify or terminate the SMS program at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated by SMS or email.
